All is interconnected. Those that have gone before us are always present as all is interconnected. They are but a whisper away. They hear and feel your human emotions.
Those who have crossed over wish to connect with you in some meaningful way to assist you moving beyond your feelings of loss and grief. Equally, those who have crossed over also like to celebrate your human triumphs, joys, and love. They wish to make it known that they feel and hear you in your joys and sorrows.
This time of year, traditionally, for many in the world, is to honor the dead. Feasts are prepared in their honor. Cakes are made to celebrate their life on Earth. Parties are planned. Children dress up and ask for candy. People make pumpkin inspired dishes. Decorate with pumpkins. Many carve a pumpkin as a Jack o’Lantern.
It is a time- from October 25-Nov 3 that has meaning for all… and the tenant of that meaning is Celebration, marked by October 31, Halloween or Samhain Eve.
Food is shared with those of who gone before, and with those who are still here.
Existence is more than “water is wet and rocks are hard.” It is more than just what is perceived through the 5 human senses of the body. The five senses (hearing, sight, taste, smell, touch) these senses are interconnected to your chakra– energy centers that interface with your human body. These senses are how you perceive the reality you are in. They can be used as a portal to interconnected with others and other worlds as well.
The 1st Chakra is the root and located near the tailbone. The 2nd Chakra is the Sacral Chakra and located in the area just below the navel. The 3rd Chakra is the Will Chakra and located just below the middle of rib cage in the area of the stomach. The 4th Chakra is the HEART and HIGH HEART. This is the seat of the soul and located in the middle to upper middle of the chest. The 5th Chakra is located in the middle of the throat. The 6th Chakra is located between the eyes– this is the 3rd Eye. The 7th Chakra is located 6 inches above the top of the head and interfaces with the whole crown of the top of the head.
We would like to note that the Realm of Flora and the Realm of Fauna– and all the millions of plants and animals also follow this body matrix.
We would further like to draw attention to Earth, the body of Gaia is the original blueprint of the human, animal and plant bodies on the surface Earth and within the Earth. All is truly interconnected.
You are more than your body. You are a soul that is embodied in a temporary biological body. You are a Soul embodied. Your Heart is the seat of your Soul. It is where your Soul connects to the human body. All people have a HEART. When one stands on the side of Love, one has opened the HEART and has a tendril of understanding that they are interconnected with others and the Earth-Gaia. This is the beginning of an Expansion of Awareness.
Those who have crossed over to another place delight in watching your Expansion of Awareness. They delight in celebrating your human life with you. They are but a whisper away. Bless them with Love as they bless you with Love.
Communication with those who are non-physical must always have a feeling of Expansiveness and Love. If the communication does not have this feeling– then clear your space. We suggest www.askfairyfarmgirl.blogspot.com for ways on doing this.
We bless you all with Love. Celebrate Life here on EARTH and for those who have gone to another place. Love More and Expect Miracles.
Open Hearts change the World. We Bless you with Love. –Fairy Farm Girl and Elizabeth

1 Medium to Large Pumpkin
8 ounces of plain yogurt or sour cream
Cheddar Cheese (shredded or grated coarsely)
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Cut open the top of each pumpkin. Scoop out the seeds and seed strings. Place pumpkins in a pan and add 1 inch of water. Cover. Bake in the oven for for 2 hours at 350F. Remove from oven. Cool. Scoop out the flesh using a spoon and put into the soup stock in a large pot or crock pot. Discard the pumpkin skin. Set aside pumpkin flesh.
Note: I have found this to be the easiest way to prepare pumpkins)
Chop all the vegetables. Add to the pumpkin. Add in all other ingredients. Stir to gently to combine. Bring the Pumpkin Stew to a boil. Reduce heat and cover with a lid slightly off of the pot. Simmer for 1-2 hours. Stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, the Stew is cooking, Do Not Cook this Pumpkin– open the top of the large pumpkin reserving the top of the pumpkin as the lid to your serving bowl. Scoop out all the Pumpkin Seeds and seed strings. Seperate the seeds from the seed strings, Reserve the seeds to roast for the Pumpkin Stew Garnish. Discard all the rest of the seed strings. Neaten up the underside of the lid by trimming away 1/4 inch of the underside of the lid of the pumpkin. The scooped out pumpkin will be your serving bowl for the Pumpkin Stew.
After the stew is finished cooking, remove from the heat. Transfer stew to the scooped out pumpkin. Place pumpkin top on the pumpkin. This recipe serves 8-12.
Serve this dish with hardy wheat bread or biscuits and garnish each bowl full with shredded cheddar cheese, pumpkin seeds, and/or a dollop of plain yogurt or sour cream.
Almost all fear is the fear of the unknown. People fear death because what happens at death is unknown. However, I have experienced the beginning of the process called death—in a snowstorm one night when I began to freeze to death—and I do not fear it. The experience of the beginning of the change called death I went through that night was beautiful. I look forward to the change called death as life’s last great adventure, and I rejoice with my loved ones as they make the glorious transition to a freer living. You overcome your fear of something by becoming acquainted with the thing you fear. —Peace Pilgrim, Peace Pilgrim, pg 151
